I'm having the same problem. Here's what it's doing (over and over):

Received characters from Character Server
---------------Character List------------------
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
-----------------------------------------------
Received character ID and Map IP from Character Server
-----------Game Info----------
Char Id: xxxxxxxxxxxx
MAP Name: new_2-3.gat
MAP IP: 38.144.194.86
MAP Port: 4500
-------------------------------
Closing Connection to character Server
Disconnecting (38.144.194.67:4500)...disconnected
Connecting to Map Server...
Connecting (38.144.194.86:4500)... connected
Timeout on Map Server, connecting to Account Server...

Seems like it's happening to a lot of us.

Are you all on Chaos?

Edit: Scratch that, it's not working on Loki/Iris either.

I think i've figured it out.. Well. I did a little netstat research and I figured out that they must've changed the Map Server IP address. ?? eh? eh? maybe.. well anyway, I did a PID reroute from the task manager when the game was completely pulled up and I was sitting in town and I figured out it was 38.144.194.228 instead of 38.144.194.225 (which mine was trying to connect to before)

Anyway, I think thats it!!! I hope.. But I have a question now..Where do you alter this variable? I've been looking but I couldnt find it.

Changes in char/inter/map server addresses and ports will not affect Kore or the client in any way. In other words, that's not the issue. All of you generate a new recvpackets or increase the map server connect timeout. There might have simply been a small packet change.

STILL no solution to this problem?

EDIT: Tried to run a packet extractor on it, getting "Address of packet size function not found."

Increased the timeouts to 60 but no dice there either.

Tired 3 different packet extractors and all of them had the same error
