When bot isn't updated, there are roughly 800 players online.
When bot updated, there are 1800 online.
Taking into consideration of players with multi-client vs personally update openkore vs people who wait for update; you do the math.

hows the GM patrol now?

You can do test run bots on hot-spot map & see for yourself.
Patrol might still be just a routine but what you want to watch out is being reported.

Does iRO GM ask you question before they ban you?

GM don't ask question. Anyone these days know who is bot & who isn't just by looking at it.
