Hello kRO players and fellow botters,
It has come to the developer's attention that kRO renewal has already reached the official kRO server.
Since kRO is an official server, we should add support for it in OpenKore.
But, there is a problem, we do not have kRO renewal accounts.
The reason for that is that we don't know the Korean language so it will be difficult to create accounts.
Due to this, we cannot record packets or test OpenKore on kRO.
So we are now requesting some test accounts.
The faster we get them, the faster you will be able to bot on kRO renewal.
You can send the credentials (login information) to any developer.
Thanks for your cooperation.
Greetings,
the developer team

Re: Regarding support for kRO renewal
omg its about time that anyone is interested in KRO
i'm KRO user and couldn't bot in KRO for about 2years because noone is developing bots for KRO
i am willing to give full support for KRO bot development
i can provide an account that can be used for 5 or 20hours or a month account but that could take time cause KRO is most expensive
add me on MSN or send email if you are willing to accept my offer
i'll send you my email address by pm

Re: Regarding support for kRO renewal
Well, it's about time the korean posters posted in english
We've been having a hard time understanding korean script in the forums, so we've been mostly ignoring them.

Re: Regarding support for kRO renewal
hello guys
It is different HACKSHIELD between Renewal server(sakray) and other server.
If you have kRO account, use Baphomet server for test(free).
because in Baphomet server, the client and the hackshield are comunicate each other.
but in sakray does't.
And at 23 sep 2009 patch, hacksheild smell START.EXE out.
i am just capable writing English sorry.
thx anyway.

Re: Regarding support for kRO renewal
Ok, we have been given 1 kRO RE account.
So we now are able to do research, do tests and work on support.
Progress and plans:
Solved bot countermeasures:
- login packet password encryption (rijndael AES encrypted)
Next bot countermeasures to solve are in order:
- Captcha
- HackShield
serverType support that is currently being worked on:
- complete old and incomplete packets + add new packets (in the kRO serverTypes)
- support up to version 29 (current kRO RE version)
Its good to see that the Korean players are giving information.
More information = faster openkore kRO support.
So please let us know when something new appears in kRO that is related to any of these countermeasures.

Re: Regarding support for kRO renewal
What if you run openkore.pl (with installed perl), not start.exe?ms600 wrote:And at 23 sep 2009 patch, hacksheild smell START.EXE out.
Re: Regarding support for kRO renewal
If you have a kRO account, you could login free kRO(both of baphomet and sakray)Technology wrote:Ok, we have been given 1 kRO RE account.
The man posted another topic said "maybe the hacksheld smell perl library out"

Re: Regarding support for kRO renewal
As far as i know, openkore does not have the ability to pass the HackShield challenges at this moment.
However, there are speculations that HackHield could be bypassed by usage of the Posseidon technique.
* Probably the Posseidon server has to get adapted for this. (its still using old packets/protocol/logic and etc...)
Hence the proposal about refactoring OK's networking (send/recv side)
* I don't know if HackShield also scans the memory for OpenKore, but if it does you could always run the Posseidon server and Kore on another PC.
(possibly also possible: virtual PC, kali's janus, ...)
Anyways, HS is only to be solved after solving captcha and refactoring OK's network.
So keep your hopes up because the OK team will get the job done,
but don't expect it anytime soon because it will require a lot of work to get it done.

Detection cause speculations:which is basically:
1) receive the challenge in Kore
2) send the challenge to the Posseidon server
3) send the challenge to the RO client (here the challenge will be answered)
4) receive the answer from the RO client in the Posseidon server
5) send the answer from Posseidon server to Kore
6) send the answer from Kore to the RO server
