A long long time ago there was a program that recorded the packets between the client and server. It would then be possible to launch a program to replay those packets through a RO client. It was able to slow/speed the replay (double/half speed).
Does anyone still have this thing?

Re: Replay
Is this thing wpe, rpe, wireshark, or openkore with the packet recording/replaying plugin (PacketRecorderPlugin & ReplayerPlugin) ?
One ST0 to rule them all? One PE viewer to find them!
One ST_kRO to bring them all and in the darkness bind them...

Re: Replay
It wasn't any of those, because I know I got that program before I was introduced to openkore.
But if openkore has this functionality, I'd like to learn about it too.

Re: Replay
For what purpose do you need to record/send packets?
Openkore has a built in console command to send packets.
Here is some example of someone using the console command "send 8E 01 CA 03 00 00 00 00 00 00" to create alcohol.

Quote from the manual:
send (<hex string>)
<hex string>
- a space-separated sequence of hex codes (e.g. 04 02 22 37 D7 FC).
Send a raw packet to the server.

Re: Replay
How long ago was this?
I coded one long ago but I never released it. Roger from bRO was supposed to help me distribute it but I lost contact with him.

Got your topic trashed by a mod?
Trashing topics is one click, and moving a topic to its proper forum is a lot harder. You expend the least effort in deciding where to post, mods expend the least effort by trashing.
Have a nice day.

Re: Replay
I'm not quite sure about the time. I do know it was several years back though.
I don't want to "send" anything anywhere, but I just want a RO client that will replay all my send/receive packets as though it just happened.
Anyways, I wanted to use this program to make videos. I figured the size of the packets would be significantly smaller than actual footage.

Re: Replay
Recording raw packet data to make videos will never work. Sorry to dash your dreams on the craggy rocks on reality.

Re: Replay
The RO client can't re-use raw packet data?
Re: Replay
Actually, it can be done by making the client connect to a server that replays the captured receive packets.
Whatever...
