was the last time you checked during the WoW family and friends beta?
WoW has been bigger than all of the official servers combined since open beta. I'd wager it's bigger than all officials and private servers combined at this time, and has been for a very long time. Most of the official servers are dying, with only the free servers being popular.
OpenKore will go down IF AND ONLY IF ALL Ragnarok servers, both official and private, will go down. As long as there's the game, there's always the "cheat".

Since I'm obviously not being clear: last time I checked, RO still had around 14 million players. WoW just broke 10 million not that long ago.

It's been months since I found that number, but considering RO's draw in certain markets compared to WoW's (specifically Asia, a MUCH bigger MMO community than most of the world, and where RO is more of a homegrown game than it it elsewhere) it makes sense. Plus while the US gets WoW commercials on TV, they get, or got, RO commercials. A few ran in Germany, too, which sucked because they all flocked straight to iRO. Everyone you ran into for a good two months was German. Oddly enough, this was during beta one.
