OpenInventory

#1 Post by reito »

Hello, this program will looks like OpenMap because it reads some files to show them in a graphical mode.

First: the program.
Image
(the flowers are here to show you how it's made)

If you want to use this program you must have the plugin "itemLog" because it use "itemlog_" files to find wich items you have in your inventory.

So if you have the plugin "itemlog" and "itemlog_" files you can open one of them by clicking on the little circle show here.
Image
It will ask you to select a file wich start by "itemlog_" (there is one in the zip) and it will show you all the items in your inventory.

It was for the program, now the items. In the zip, there is a folder named "items" where you can find the sprites of every items. If an item in your inventory doesn't have his sprite here, it will be displayed by a "?".

There is also an .ini file where you must input the path for your folder "logs" (ex: C:\Openkore\logs\" with the "\" at the end.

Below, you can see a list of every items with their type (cons=consomable, equip=equipement). If an item isn't in this list, it will be displayed in the "etc" category of your inventory.

Finally, in the ini you will see a key called "RefreshTimeInSeconds" wich is the delay for the program to check if the itemlog_ file has changed. For example, if you do the command "itemlog" with the bot, it will rewrite the itemlog_ file and my program will refresh the inventory.

That's all. if you have any question or think that this program is useless, just ask.

The sprites and the list for items isn't very complete but you can finish it alone. Just find the sprites in ratemyserver and add them in the folder.

here is the zip:
http://files.filefront.com/OpenInventor ... einfo.html
here is another exe:
http://files.filefront.com/OpenInventor ... einfo.html (this will show the number of items with the text aligned to the right)
here is the itemlog_ file:
http://files.filefront.com/itemlog+Demo ... einfo.html

Part 2: How to add items.

I made a program "CheckItems" wich scan the folder "items" to find if you have the sprite of an item wich isn't in the ini file. In this case, it ask you what kind of item it's and add it to the list. So for example, below are all armor's sprites, dezip it in "items" folder, launch "CheckItems", put "1" (equip) for the first item and keep pressing enter for add every items of the zip. very simple.

here is the CheckItems:
I will put it another day.
here are armor's sprites:
http://files.filefront.com/Armor+Sprite ... einfo.html
here are shield's sprites:
http://files.filefront.com/Shield+Sprit ... einfo.html
here are garment's sprites:
http://files.filefront.com/Garment+Spri ... einfo.html
here are shoes's sprites:
http://files.filefront.com/Shoes+Sprite ... einfo.html

Finally: what it looks like.
