Depreciating serverType
There are currently way too many serverType that is not used at all. Should it be depreciated and renumber them so people dont get confused easily?

and what if gravity decides to re-use one of the ones we just deleted?
Re: Depreciating serverType
He said depreciate, not remove. We could always provide legacy serverTypes (like, say, L_1, L_2, etc) that just don't come with OpenKore unless Gravity starts using that serverType again. Just a thought.

It's not like you actually can delete files from subversion without dumping, hacking and restoring a repository which we probably can't on sourceforge.. (and wouldn't make any sense either)Bibian wrote:and what if gravity decides to re-use one of the ones we just deleted?
What I want to say is: What the hell do we have a Version Control System for? .. exactly for "problems" like this. Even if we delete them, you could still make a tag before doing that and if you forget to do it.. you can still search it in the history assuming you actually wrote commit log for it.
You can't make people smarter. You can expose them to information, but your responsibility stops there.
