Hey I'm still having trouble with this tool. I don't really understand the 4th step. If anyone could come on the openkore IRC channel and walk me through it that'd be great...
in #openkore I am qxc

to those who are trying to extract the darkroforce-client.exe

packet len map is failed because the patterns that used is not supporting the said target.exe

but for other servers. it should be working. tnx to klabmouse!!!

just follow this instructions:

command prompt is located at start menu/accesories/command promt
1. open command promt(you should save the openkore-v3 in my doc for you to able to use cmd easilly)
2. then type cd my documents(enter)
3.cd openkore-v3(enter)
4.cd v3(enter)
5.start.exe ! packet_extract.pl target.exe(enter)
(then wait till Extractor generated. Please run blah blah
6.type extracor.exe > recvpackets.txt
8. look to your openkore-v3/v3 folder.. you will find the extracted packet.

very easy steps.. for those not really famillar in using cmd.

use this steps for easy extracting....

***if the packet len map is not found then the patterns is not supporting the target.exe***

The thing is, that now fRO/cRO and others use old style functions, that the v3 Extractor cannot understand.
I will try to implement some hack, to make the extractor work on it. But I better suggest to mod the JVC RO Tools or old Perl based Extractor to handle them.

fro - JVC RO Tools and other extractors not working. After finally getting your perl script to run the extractor is still crashing as of now but its creation works like someone mentioned before. Xkore 2 is giving me a lot of unkown switches especially 0085 when trying to move manually but it's still working which makes me kinda paranoid.

If it helps without "> xyz.txt" it only shows blabla packet extractor by klab... in console then crashes - I guess it's empty or flawed.

fRO ragexe.exe + created extractor.exe + the basic files > http://ul.to/dk8naghn

That's normal with current openkore, majority of client→server packets appear as unknown to new PacketParser.

I haven't used the new packetparser in those tries if he has been implemented after september - I so far only update and maintain my tables since I don't change it unless it doesn't work correctly anymore( which was kinda the point when I got several unknown switches etc).

Tried out newest SVN - still get the same unkown switches.

But all in all - what does it mean? Do I have to worry or do the recvpackets.txt even have to do anything with it?
