I am willing to provide updates for pRO tables. The only problem I encounter is unpacking the executables. If only a universal extractor is available, I may be able to help. pRO table needs to be updated btw.

Edit: Grammar checking. :P

The most Easy thing. is to just run the ragexe.exe (Till the MsgWindow show up), and dump it's memory.
This will make a good start point to use for Analysis.
Also, it's suitable for Extractor v3

Unfortunately this does not work. I was hoping ever_boy_ can share the extractor he's using. Seems that he has the only working extractor.

Greetings to all members of the forum, this is my first post, I would love to be part of the support team bro. Unfortunately, there is a site here titled Official Openkore Brazil that access charges have to OpenCore Vip updated in real time.
This goes against the program name Openkore is something open where nobody should take any financial benefit. Openkore I love the idea, love Openkore and would like to help support, (unfortunately I think the Brazil team is overloaded because so far not been updated weekly lit file server).
I've been reviewing the file and comparing with previous versions and not seen very large or significant changes, would appreciate guidance (which method to use) set of programs that have and where to get information so I can post the file in real time, not like OpenKore the idea of someone being charged to profit and that it offends the idea of the creator of this wonder that I love deeply.
Please I currently have enough free time and would like to help support, please allow me to humbly raise the banner of free OpenKore, to available worldwide and free of charge!!

~oh well.. It's been so long when I last post here in the forums and i want to say sorry about that. But, because of my studies. I suddenly need to quit RO and concentrate with my studies. Oh well. I just want to suggest a guy from the philippines. He is very good with creating/developing plugins and he is very knowledgable with perl. If you guys can contact him. It will be a great help. https://www.facebook.com/ladysoulless Here is url for his fan page. I don't know him in person but I salute him of his great collection of plugin and his wide knowledge of perl.

Learn Perl. If you already know how to program in some other language and just need to know the syntax, this tutorial is excellent: http://qntm.org/files/perl/perl.html
When you learn something and want to practice, find something that you miss the OpenKore try and implement. Can be implementing a new plugin or directly editing the source.

When you need to post in any area of Technical. I always see posts there.

Aprenda Perl.

For someone who is advanced openkore user with Perl knowledge and who can make plugins, it's up to him whether he decides to actually participate in our project in any way.

Hi team - I'm a soon to graduate mechatronic engineer with some capabilities in terms of autonomous systems development including shortest path algorithms, networking and applications and generalised AI. I have admittedly beginner-intermediate C/C++ programming ability and have only learnt some of the perl environment through openkore itself. I have enjoyed the use of openkore for a week or two now and feel that some contributions in terms of my abilities would be both beneficial to the community as well as to myself in developing my knowledge through real applications. How should I start with higher level involvement? Would it pay to review the path calculation algorithm, etc.,things that I am familiar with?

ffej, it never analyzed it very thoroughly, so I went wrong somewhere... I understand that much of the AI, especially regarding routes, is found in the src\Task.
Routes, we use A* algorithm, and the calculation is done in C++. See the file src\Utils\PathFinding.pm.

In the src\AI is found mainly IA "configurable", which is mainly edit the files under the folder config.

If you've made an improvement on OpenKore, can you disclose in the area Developers Corner to analyze the team and, if worthy, to be sent to the official SVN. Any doubt in the development can ask in the Help Development .

[PT-BR]
ffej, nunca analisei isso muito nisso a fundo, por isso posso esta errado em alguma parte... Pelo que sei, boa parte da IA, principalmente referente as rotas, se encontra na pasta src\Task.
Nas rotas, é usado o algorítimo A*, e os cálculos é feito em C++. Veja o arquivo src\Utils\PathFinding.pm.

i also idolize lady soulless for his/her plugins and programming skills. if he/she will participate in the OpenKore community, he/she will be a great help to us. but i don't think that he/she will join the team because many people will abuse his/her contributions if it will be post to the public. :(

Too long; dint read: You, the community needs to step up to get involved or else this project will die a slow tragic death.

The story of a problematic relationship being dragged along its limping feet because the two parties in it refuses to acknowledge the problem in front of them in hopes that maintaining the illusion of normalcy can make the problem disappear is a tragedy waiting to happen. We are all too familiar but this is what openkore's situation is.

The truth is that it is neither new and sadly is not just a phase but has become a fact of life for Openkore 3 years now. Openkore at the moment has about 5 active devs (none of whom who plays the game) and even less moderators (maybe 3). Posts from newly registered users someone takes weeks to approve. At one point was in months. The idea was to reduce newbie questions from flooding the forum but it was not a real solution as it was just fixing the symptom. In reality it was worse as without proper manpower (hey we have real life too) to moderate (which by the way is a shitty job that not many wants to do) even good post gets ignored and that damages the health of the project more than it solves problems. And yet that is only part of the problem. You may ask why not recruit more mods? But where from?

Look around the support forums and you will see large number of questions being unanswered. The community is supposed to help itself, not just the job of the mods, admins or developers. A lot of original posters do not even reply back. I get the feeling that after correct direction was provided (say to obtain server info)no shit was given. The same question reappears 3 days later.

Then there is the obsession with macros. It is probably the most active section yet it still falls prey to the same issue as the support section but that is however not the main issue. The obsession means many features (some which can be considered core or important functions) gets solved in a half assed way while a true solution (through the main codebase and plugins) get ignored while it. Macros were designed for simple workarounds and have massive limitations (eg: macros break when disconnects happen) when dealing with complex requirements. Plugins are supposed to resolve that need yet the plugin archive is awfully sparse and woefully outdated.

Which comes to the final and worst problem - leeches. Our attitude towards leeches has always to demonize them because they do not give back to the community but the expectation for all users to come back and contribute is silly and unrealistic. Yet, there should be more than a mere handful of people who maintain the project for such a large userbase. I feel that a large part of the skilled userbase refuse to contribute back for fear of losing their edge in the game and it is selfish. Often you see posts which states "problem solved" and nothing else or worse brags about the solution with an emoticon at the end of the post. This attitude is what lead us here in the first place and if it continues the project can die at a whim's notice. The devs do not even play, do you understand the implication? Given enough frustration, they can just don't care and that will be the end of openkore. Have fun trying to make anything work when things break (as if openkore isn't breaking down as it is).

I would like to point out to the zenny sellers; look, you guys are very skilled users probably with deeply intricate setups. You know openkore and you have utilized it to your benefit, monetary benefit and probably not just pocket change either. It is time you give back because you have the most to lose.

I am surprised the project survived this long. We are maintaining a software that is running at the minimum it requires to work and many other non critical components are left breaking down (tables for renewal for example) and we are helpless to resolve it. It's time to step up because the alternative is openkore dying before RO. Maybe this is how it is, it is the life story of many open source projects. Prove me wrong though.

tolong to read,
how much for me to invest in some hard work and easy to make setups.

Ether I'll raise this project to its full marketing potential or it will become last weeks garbage.
