Openkore's SubProjects.

#1 Post by isieo »

If you did not notice, The OpenKore Project doesn't only consist of Ragnarok Online Bot.

We have:

ORC

Code: Select all

SVN: (https://openkore.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/openkore/orc/)
Opensourced Ragnarok online client, if this project is successful, we can fully screw Gravity - ORC + Athena = win!

Rendering is almost complete!

dataminer

Code: Select all

Svn: (https://openkore.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/openkore/plugins/dataminer/)
A very powerful tool to gather data about players arround you.
Sample application:
- Gather Player data, get average player levels
- Quality of monsters
- and more!
mercdb

Code: Select all

svn: (https://openkore.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/openkore/plugins/mercdb/)
Gather Price information from merchants and inteligent item purchasing!
dataserver

Code: Select all

svn: (https://openkore.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/openkore/plugins/dataserver/)
As you notice openkore uses Alot of memory because it loads everything to memory, normally its alright BUT if you have 30 bots, thats a BIG BIG problem, dataserver is designed for sharing common files in openkore.
db2kore

Code: Select all

Svn: (https://openkore.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/openkore/db2kore/)
This tool extracts data from aegis or athena database and create files for kore
field-editor

Code: Select all

Svn (https://openkore.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/openkore/field-editor/)
Written in C#, this tool allow you to view/edit fld files.
neoncube

Code: Select all

svn:(https://openkore.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/openkore/neoncube/)
GRF Extractor
obb

Code: Select all

Svn: (https://openkore.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/openkore/obb/)
This tool is useful to manage a large number of bots, can manage 1 bot too
but isn't useful. You can bot in different servers with different characters.
All that you need is know how to manage the files.

This tool can take some responses when some triggers are activated, everything
that goes to the log files can be watched and triggered. Triggers can do simple
things as "start an alarm", send a mail or sms message, logoff, shutdown the
system, resuming everything that could be possible with normal unix commands.
I really hope use expect in a near future to do some blackmagic as: answer
something, use some skill, act in a specified manner, and everything that
could be done with console commands.

packet-extracter

Code: Select all

Svn (https://openkore.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/openkore/packet-extracter/)
Packet extractor.
script-launcher

Code: Select all

SVN: (https://openkore.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/openkore/script-launcher/)
This Linux tool helps people to manage multiple bots.
We are happy to give SVN access to developers who think that they can improve/finish up/do better for the projects above.

[EDIT: Technology] updated plugins links

Interresting info, Isieo !

I like the main idea of ORC (altough its very old).
However it seems impossible to get the .DevPak 's that are needed to compile it.
Anyone still has these lying around?

[EDIT]
thx, compiled it. (some devpak's were missing so had to get some headers & libs elsewhere)

that's a consummate project i think...

when you botting ,then a GM appear, you can open(show) that client to talk with the GM (answer some petty questions easily) just like you are playing the game...

[when you can show/hide that client it will only take a little CPU etc as same as openkore

so it's different from Xkore which take too much resource....]

Actually dataserver is abandoned. It was mostly an experiment to see whether it'll be beneficial, but so far the performance costs outweight the gains, at least in its current design. I don't recommend anybody to use it.

well, i felt that its a waste to leave these projects to rot, they all look decent and some like ORC are excellent projects.

if anyone wants to take over them, please say so we can give you svn access to it, or maybe we will register an account for you in sf.
