Hi, i am new here.

and i want to learn how to fix Packet Tokenizer: Unknown Switch.

I've read:
http://www.openkore.com/index.php/Packets
http://www.openkore.com/index.php/Recvpackets.txt

and i tried
1. RO Tools
Result:

Code: Select all

==================[ ERROR ]==================
Sorry I cant find the offset of the packet length function.
The executable file might be compressed/protected.
=============================================
Maybe because the file is over 6MB

2. PEEK.
Result: "ExtractPacketLen: Failed to find PACKET_CZ_ENTER"

from the thread i've read, 4epT said "likely that your file is packed by external program"

so, i don't know how to unpacked. so i googling it and i found Universal Extractor

and when i unpacked the MyRagnarokexe.exe, the result is:
\.rsrc (folder)
.data (Type: DATA File, 133KB)
.rdata (Type: RDATA File, 754KB)
.text (Type: TEXT File, 5,278KB)
.CERTIFICATE (Type: File, 6KB)

So, what's next step i must do?
Thank you

Use that program in your exe and him return the name of protection.

After that search in google how to upack this protection.

I tried PEEK but it just hangs when I press "Start Analyzer". Waited for 10mins and nothing happens.
Tried both Disable/Enable Launcher and I get the same result.

Is there any way to print the address where PEEK finds the packet in the .ini file? I've been struggling with bRO for a while now. It was packed, I think I managed to unpack it, but PEEK doesn't find all the packets. My only hope now is to figure out the rest manually according to the ones it can find. I tried to find it with IDA, but I just can't find it anywhere.

My topic on the bRO section: http://forums.openkore.com/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=210011

I've read this topic: http://forums.openkore.com/viewtopic.php?f=36&t=17996
And this one too: http://forums.openkore.com/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=209531

They helped, but not nearly enough. I'm a noob web dev, I have absolutely no idea how to work things out with assembly language. Will I have to learn ASM to do this? So far no one was able to point out a way. And every direction given on the topics I read are very unclear. This is carried out as a "top secret" of some sorts. It kinda pisses me off. (I know, nobody owes me anything here, but after more than a month trying all sorts of things with no progress is really frustrating)
