The problem can occur when trying to make a patch/commit. (its your text-editor's fault)
How to solve this problem?
First, look in which file the problem is occurring. (by elimination)
Then look in what part of that file the problem is occurring. (most likely in a part you've changed recently)
Then remove all line endings (ENTER's).
Redo all line endings.
Done.

A better way to solve this problem.
Open the file in notepad++
From the menu > Coding > Unix style (names may differ)
Save file.
Done.
