I've been playing RO (pRO back in 2005-2007, then a bunch of private servers) and using Openkore for as long as I remember. However, the last time I played RO and used Openkore was back in 2010. I know all the basic stuff, getting server info, extracting packets, configuring, adding macros, etc.

Recently, I started playing WoonRO. I tried configuring a bot for it however, I'm experiencing a problem. I get stuck and experience a timeout on the character server when I start openkore. Also, I tried using Xkore, but the client crashes.

Screenie:

Additionally, here's teh server info:

Code: Select all

[Woon RO]
ip 68.168.21.133
port 6900
master_version 14
version 25
serverType kRO_RagexeRE_2010_07_13a
private 1
serverEncoding Western
recvpackets recvpackets-WoonRO.txt
charBlockSize 108
addTableFolders translated/kRO_english;kRO
I used WPE to get the info. Used PEviewer to determine servertype. Btw, I tried extracting the clientinfo for the server but when I open it, I only see gibberish and weird characters.

Is there a possibility that an anti-bot system is preventing me from botting in the server? Or is it because of a minor error that I must have committed?

Thanks and more power to the Openkore team!

charBlockSize may be wrong, otherwise compare packets when connecting with the client and with openkore via the same WPE.

thanks for the advice. I compare the packets for the client and openkore. I found out that openkore was connecting to a different char server.

What I did, was remove the flag for the "private" line. Then I was able to connect to the correct Char Server.

Code: Select all

private <boolean flag>
Set this option if Openkore connects to a wrong map-server IP. Usually for private servers.
^maybe someone could add the to the wrong char-server IP to the description from the manual? :-)
