How to Use Plugins, Read First by SuperNoob

#1 Post by tisoy_on_line »

SuperNoob wrote:Read and Understand first: To use these plugins follow this simple steps. Please follow the steps carefully so you will not mess-up your bot. If you are not sure, create a backup first.

Step 1: Create a plugins folder in your openKore directory (ex: c:\openkore\plugins\) you will use this folder to store your plugins. Plugins are files with .pl extension.

Step 2: Create a blank txt file called macros.txt in your control folder (ex: c:\openKore\control\macros.txt) you can use notepad to create a blank txt or simply right click inside your folder and create a new text document.
You can leave this blank or you can skip this step if you are not using a macro plugin

NOTE: Once you create a plugins folder it will be automatically detected by openKore. if you are using multiple bots (multiple control folders) you must create a macros.txt file in each control folder.

REMEMBER:

Plugins files (.pl) go inside the plugins folder c:\openkore\plugins\ examples are:
macro.pl (macro.pl without s)
autowarp.pl
autotrade.pl
petFeeder.pl

Text files (.txt) go inside the control folder c:\openkore\control\ examples are:
macros.txt (macros.txt with s)
autotrade.txt

If you can't follow the above instructions, please don't continue reading until you do so.

ADDITIONAL NOTES:

If you are using macros you must first download the macro plugin here

http://openkore.sourceforge.net/macro

then place it in your c:\openkore\plugins\ folder.

Then place the macro commands in a filename called macros.txt and place it inside your c:\openkore\control\ folder

Thanks and best regards.

This has nothing to do with what to put in macros.txt at all. Macro plugins is a complicated tool with it's own syntax and is out of the scope of this guide.

The macro plugin has been moved to a location that made more sense.
svn trunk version: https://openkore.svn.sourceforge.net/sv ... acro/trunk

How to install the macro plugin is already written in the macro manual.
So there is no need to confuse the users with another, yet inferior, article.

Google: macro + openkore = http://www.openkore.com/wiki/index.php/Macro_plugin
chapter 2, installation
One ST0 to rule them all? One PE viewer to find them!
One ST_kRO to bring them all and in the darkness bind them...

Mount Doom awaits us, fellowship of OpenKore!
