Renewal

#1 Post by OnceUponATime »

Does openkore not work with renewal?
I logged into Ygg char select and it was all jumbled text.
And when I try to log on with xkore it wont even recognize the client.

Anyone tried using openkore on ygg yet?
or any renewal client for that matter that knows what my problem could be

i believe the latest kore is supporting renewal clients..
openkoreRO is using a renewal client and i am botting in that server..

question is, are you using the latest bot?

here's the link..

http://openkore.collectskin.com/openkore_ready.zip

just copy your config.txt over to the new openkore.. not much have changed..

except if you are homunculus user..

anyways, download the latest kore and let us know what other problem you're having..

the eternalharvest fix worked perfect

however i am still having the same problem as before.
kore does not recognize the renewal client.

i was thinking, in order to access the new iRO renewal server you had to download a new client.
the new client name is renewal.exe
maybe the name has something to do with it?

im just trying out a bunch of different things to see if i can get it working.
let me know if you have any ideas please.
and thanks for your help

EDIT:

I changed XKore_exeName to yggexe.exe
as well and putting in the server info and some packets in a different place.
everything is working perfectly now!
thank you for all the help!

i am having the same problem

i have rechecked all things including
ip
port
server version
master version

they are all the same (as Ymir)

i have no problem using the same openkore on the same PC for botting in Ymir
just that when i try to bot in Ygg, in character server, the names/number of characters/lvl/job/etc... are all wrong, hence cannot "select" a character

have also tried charBlockSize 102, 106, 112, 128....
the char info show different with different charBlockSize but still all wrong n in correct....

:P Hi noob,

I'm from Manila, Philippines and I had the same problem yesterday but I immediately fixed it. The main reason why it still in jumbled text it was because of the setting charBlockSize=108 in servers.txt. If this is still in your settings, your openkore_ready for your server will not work. Since the episode renewal have character additions, I suggest to overwrite it with charBlockSize=112. Only apply this solution in openkore_ready.rar because it is built for the renewal so it will not work in openkore 2.0.7 and below. Mine is pRO Valkyrie and now working well (except for "Packet Parser: Unhandled Packet: 07F6 Handler: exp" that appears every time you killed a monster, but don't worry).

I hope help was really helpful to all renewal botters
