Re: Regarding support for kRO renewal

#11 Post by kali »

I was just thinking, maybe the new password encryption was not to have bots be unable to login, but to lessen hack cases? For example, if I'm playing at a computer internet rental shop, I can have the server sniff out packets from the players (including their login credentials). Having a stronger encryption should prevent this.

I do agree the captcha is a bot counter measure, though I really am surprised they're using a very easily decodable image. Or maybe this is just some sort of test? I'm quite sure kRO devs are reading our forums, so they are keeping track of our progress. Since not a lot of people are able to contribute into CAPTCHA decoding, maybe we should do detailed development in private, while still keeping the public informed of our progress. My fear is that kRO devs will play the shield-cannon game, and we don't have enough resources for that :(

I'll try to see if I can update Janus for HackShield, but to tell you frankly, the OpenKoreBus is a bit contrived and is really hard to work with. I would suggest that instead of the current message format, we switch to something more standard (like yaml) as the carrier. That should allow more developers to properly interface with OpenKore (not just perl based programs too).
Got your topic trashed by a mod?

Trashing topics is one click, and moving a topic to its proper forum is a lot harder. You expend the least effort in deciding where to post, mods expend the least effort by trashing.

Have a nice day.

someone uses it for dungeon & fighters and someone for freestyle

its link is in korean site and cannot be viewed if you dont have an account, which means you need to register but need korean id-number.
so you cannot view it even if i get the link.

the guy who uses it uploaded video of how he uses it.

1.get the MLE running and open the hackshield folder
2.deletes all the files in the folder except the zip file of the hack shield programs.
3.go to MLE and hide the MLE
4.get the game running and wait for the hackshield to load.
5.as soon as the hack shield start to load he view the hackshield folder and extract the zip file.(at the same time hack shield auto-updates the deleted files)
6.messege comes up if the user wants to overwrite the hackshield files and click yes to all

its something like that but the user dont say how to use it in detail

i wrote these stages just by watching the video. i don't really understand it but i see many ppl use this for hacking in korea

Latest OK svn comes with support for kRO.
(the user must still solve the captcha but at least we emulate the client...)
Have fun botting! ;)
I'm not sure what the effects of the hackshield are so be careful.
I've haven't had any trouble with HS so far tho...
However, we are not responsible for possible bans.
using start.exe in combination with korean encoding is still bugged tho:
http://forums.openkore.com/viewtopic.php?f=56&t=7512
if you want to bot, run kore off the openkore.pl perl script
this issue is solved now, download the latest start.exe / startwx.exe here and use it together with latest svn of kore src and tables.

some feedback whether it works or not would be nice too...

kRO main servers should be supported using poseidon in latest svn. (also get the latest svn tables pack)
note: put <langtype>0</langtype> in poseidon.xml for the RO client to use the 02B0 packet (to distinguish between kRO and other servers)

example of RO/data/poseidon.xml

Code: Select all

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="euc-kr" ?>
<clientinfo>
<servicetype>korea</servicetype>
<servertype>primary</servertype>
   <connection>
      <display>Poseidon</display>
      <balloon></balloon>
      <desc>None</desc>
      <address>127.0.0.1</address>
      <port>6900</port>
      <version>19</version>
      <langtype>0</langtype>
      <registrationweb></registrationweb>
      <aid>
         <admin></admin>
      </aid>
   </connection>
</clientinfo>
How to use poseidon is explained here
note: you will have to use the poseidon.pl perl script as HackShield detects poseidon.exe!

edit:
openkore's poseidon does not support kRO main servers for some reason

hello to developers.
it's been almost 2years since last Kro support related post and most of the native Kro users are frequently asking bot questions to me.
but well, i'm just one of the long time bot user but have limited knowlegde about developing.
On behalf of the Kro users I ask if Kro can be supported again.
I have intention of offering some Kro accounts for testing and testing Kro for fluent support.
Please PM me or post reply if anyone may give support.
