There are a few npc's in the game that automatically make you emote once you pass them, specifically *?*. Some pop open a dialogue box as well. Geffen has one and Payon has one, not sure if they made more.

If you're storage npc passes through these 2 areas, it's likely nothing.

In this case I would think you haven't set up its auto sit upper hp correctly. If you tell it to sit below 150% hp but forget to set its stand hp this might happen, but I also don't know how openkore behaves with hp values over 100%.
