The idea has been alive for a while and today it has been discussed on IRC that maybe there will be a Kore-RO v2.

Some @commands are enabled, some of them will be removed as we leave the testing stage.
Use @commands to show them.

Currently there isn't a controlpanel yet but you can register in client. Just use your loginname and append _M/_F /male/female)
Example: myuser_M will be loginname myuser and male

Current rates are 5/5/5. They will probably be changed after testing.

There aren't any special things added yet as I haven't had much time (will change).

Previous Kore-RO downsides:
-Bots allowed in WoE
-Lack non-botter(manual player) benefits
-Some said, absence of online vending downed socialism(no @autotrade).
-Absence of voting for points
-Lacks announcement prior to events (duh, were botters, we're not always on for random events)
-Too balanced donations, should allow alittle overpowered items (I never had funds to donate :( )
-No bot function to teleport without SP

Upsides:
-Nice web-based online vending
-Balanced WoE timing
-Friendly/jolly/kind hearted/lovable Admin Azara
-Custom WoE/PvP room (decent rewards and improvent on Koth, might do good)
-Minimum custom (as close to official)

Donation to increase bot limit is wonderful. I liked Kore-RO the most over any of the server I played before. I wish it wasn't dead : (

We're thinking about this too. Maybe only a few per party? Discuss about!
-Lack non-botter(manual player) benefits
How to solve this? Maybe some kind of support bot?
-Too balanced donations, should allow alittle overpowered items
I'm pretty against overpowered items, but maybe exp modifications?
-No bot function to teleport without SP

Hmm, its good that KoreRo will be revived, let me suggest some features if ever this will push through..

Rates : 20/20/10 ( third Job is hard to level )
Town and dungeon Warper to be located in prontera only (Dungeon warps only to the entrance)
No Guild Warper
Healer and Food NPC
Job Changer / 3rd Job Changer
Bots NOT Allowed in WoE/PvP (Save Point Only)
BG / Customized PvP Room
No Online Market (Sell your stuff in streets so that prontera will have players)

Edit:
I may add maximum of 10-15 guild members (depends on server population), so all guilds will have the oppurtunity to own a castle.

I believe server higher server rank on top ro site by voting is main source of advertising. The higher the rank, the higher the chance to get more players. Vote for Points benefits server, and rewards the players.

Setting anti-bot might be inefficient to stop bots in WoE. A better way would be disabling 1 IP 2 accounts rule during WoE. Just boot out dual-account logins during WoE. Though I don't know how to handle people playing from same IP from Internet Cafe's

So far, only few activities not effectively performable by bots. E.g Large MvpP hunts, Abyss/Abbey/BioLab3 raids. But all these requires a party to start. Benefits like custom map with higher rates with mixed up mixture of mobs not conducive for botting. This allows more players to join in manually and being interactive and making server lively. Last few moments of Kore-RO was sort of dead, just 24 hours bots around the maps and no reply on @main most of the time.

Just a l.i.t.t.l.e bit more on what was on Kore-RO wouldn't do harm imo. Like skipping certain annoying Quests by donating. Balanced item-rental.

this is not really biggie issue. But would be sweet : )
Also hope not teleport idle while sitting which makes bot respawn to town bug in Kore-RO will not repeat.
I think server can do good, since there's alot of interesting updates since Kore-RO closed down (new world,endless)

@freezer,

I always prefer, maximum 10/10/5 on bot-able server.
No dungeon warper.
No Free Heal NPC.
No job changer.

For the rates of 10/10/5, it will be hard to level for the 3rd jobs.
Some new players are lazy to travel by Kafra and airplane, So I suggest the Dungeon warper but only to the entrance.
Healer/Job Changer - As I have said, some new players want this especially if they come from other Private Server.

1st of all, thanks for giving hopes for a botable server back to us

since Kore-ro v1 shutdown i've been playing in 5-8 server with all kind of settings (markets,quest,customs item,vote item,donation item) still i missed kore-ro

k. question,
whats the server purpose? botter training ground? openkore function/bug testing?
which direction the server is heading? 100% official no customs? or just like 1000 server out there giving out 1000x - as low as 10x server, and tons of customs gear
would it be community server or money making server?

the extra i would loved to see is:
1) dungeon warper: gefenia,thor,abbey and etc
2) healer npc: nice to have but can make it charge 2k zeny on heal
3) vote reward npc: trade ur vote point with items like exp manual,bubble gum,enriched elus/oris, or all stat +1 mid headgear wont hurt
4) no @autotrade (or enable @autotrade but it still take ur IP quota) with @whosell is nice
5) stat-skill reseter (imagine lvling int,dex creator?? lol) but if its somehow imbalance, making the Valkyrie giving out Skill and Stat Reset coupon on trans will be nice
6) Job changer (damn... its botable server still need the Job Changer?) *although i love it as well
7) the next thing the other player will ask is Platinum Skill NPC (same as above), but in my opinion, giving out free platinum skills to 1st class wont hurt too
8) bot in woe, i dont mind killing sg pre-cast bot but followDistanceMin = 0 bot are really annoying
9) GM, Server Owner CANT PLAY. no corruption? peace
10) Please don't give too many advantage item/gear to rich ppl = donation item
11) 10x - 25x server will be nice

but as long as i can bot without fear, i don't mind playing in 100% official like server
im noob, but i know how to read config manual, command manual, macro manual but im still a noob.
