Is Openkore team retired?

#1 Post by MayDay »

I'm sorry for opening this topic and it's not a flame topic.

But there's something I'm really curious about. I have been using openkore since 2005. Then I gave a break for a long time and with opening 4game euro server, I came back. Naturally the first thing I did was to meet up with my old friend openkore. However, what I saw was not working on the openkore 4game server due to frost security. But someone had arranged the openkore bot to use this server. I immediately looked at that bot, but what I saw was someone who completely exploited the users with the exorbitant price.
Openkore is free but it doesn't work, m *** skore (edited version of openkore) works but is very expensive.

I'm just wondering, can't the openkore team make the arrangement of these stingers?

p.s. : sorry for bad english.

You can check at the bottom of this link for openkore team:
http://openkore.com/index.php/OpenKore

And who's active based on the graph:
https://github.com/OpenKore/openkore/gr ... ntributors

With the exception of allanon auto-PR machine, not sure if he's still active or not.
His last word is that he lost interest in iRO and just let his machine running pulling updates.

What I know under GNU GPL v3, they can sell or do what ever they wanted with their bypass method.
They can only sell that, but not openkore.
It's their work, their right; for bypass method.

Dude, dont ask in github.
That place not for asking help.
If you want to ask, use forum or IRC.

Github for report bugs, implement features and updates.
Don't mess that place up.

Most developers who currently active are mainly from Brazil.
They are more active in their community rather than here.
It seems there is a discord server for Brazil community too but IDK the link.
Maybe somewhere in their forum? I don't speak Portuguese and google translate suck.

You can contact them there or contact them directly
You may get some enlightenment on your question but there are too many odds to get it done.
Selling openkore is not a new thing. It's been happening for many time in last decade.

TL:DR - You can try, but it's not gonna happening anytime soon.
