Bugtracker

#1 Post by Bibian »

Oke i'v just setup a bugtracker where people can register themselfs, the default rank for everyone that registers is "Viewer" so they can only VIEW the bugs and nothing more.

The tracker is intended for our developers, supporters and testers. So if you're in one or more of these groups, post your username here and which group you are in and then me or another admin (just me at this time that im writing this) will make you a reporter or whatever rank you need.

This tracker is meant for SERIOUS bug / feature request, its not meant to be flooded to hell... in the future i will add a captcha for registration too, to prevent bot registration. I set this up at work lol :P

If you need any new categories to be added, projects, etc.. post here too and an admin will add these asap.

Technology: developer, tester
One ST0 to rule them all? One PE viewer to find them!
One ST_kRO to bring them all and in the darkness bind them...

Mount Doom awaits us, fellowship of OpenKore!

Basicly if you can commit fixes to the SVN then you're a developers (in mantis), if you test openkore and are part of the testers group you're an 'updater' (you can report and update issues on mantis) and if you're a moderator you're a 'reporter' on mantis :P

But you can just ask me the access you need and i'll take care of it.
We have the following access levels on mantis:

Viewer - Can only view
Reporter - Can report issues
Updater - Can update issues
Developer - can assign issues to him/herself and solve them
Manager - can assign issues to others
Administrator - can do everything

I'd go for developer (mostly to view, but I don't want to bug people when I get the time to fix stuff XD )
Got your topic trashed by a mod?

Trashing topics is one click, and moving a topic to its proper forum is a lot harder. You expend the least effort in deciding where to post, mods expend the least effort by trashing.

Have a nice day.
