Looking for volunteers to help out writing faqs for the wiki

#1 Post by Cozzie »

I am looking for volunteers who would want to assist me so sample skill blocks information are better presented. Read here.

I'm down for this. A good example of this section needing an overhaul is the fact that there's a thread for TKM and Soul Linker. That makes no sense whatsoever, the two classes are completely different (my reasoning for making a TK/TKM thread). I guess I'll go ahead and fix that right now.

You expected this community to do something to help instead of just leeching?

I have plenty of free time, and writing FAQs is a good way to learn more about openkore.

I offer you my little help.

And Sli, I was not supposed to be a dumbass like you said.

I'm sorry, ok?
Elves are really, really interesting.

Smiles ;D and Jackie Chan, are fucking cool.

Going back to my first post in this thread, shouldn't all unsimilar classes be broken into their own threads? Rogues and Assassins can probably stay merged (both are melee), but Monks and Champions are nothing like Priests and High Priests (going from spell to melee). I think that's the only one that would need to be changed, though.

There are melee battle priests too and the odd monk that doesn't go melee, but I do sort of see the logic behind why you want those two separated. Would it cause too much clutter if we broke all the classes down so each second class was in their own forum thread?

Well those are special cases. You could made a monk that doesn't rely on melee, but when you get right down to it, monk and champs are melee classes and (basically) have the same skill trees, but have vastly different skill trees from priests.
