Yes. But you'll need to properly structure it so when we merge the files, it's cleanly integrated (that means it won't break existing functionality).
So for example, instead of modifying the core OpenKore .pm files, try to make it into a new servertype.
What I would advise you is to start off from a fresh checkout of the master branch, then add in your changes one by one.

Already did that from the fork of official openkore.
Update some missing packets at server type RagexeRE_2013_08_07a.pm
Creating sub file at tables/pserver/ (for my server localize txt files)
Nothing vital change on others part.
