2nd bot follows, uses skills, but does not auto atta | 2.0.7

#1 Post by Endurs »

I've just recently started using OpenKore and my skills are limited, please hang with me a sec. Currently triboxing thief/archer/swordsman. The swordsman is my "tank" and "leader."

My problem is that while I have both my archer and my thief following my swordsman just fine, I run into a problem when they need to autoattack. I can get my thief to use envenom but I get an error "cannot reach target or damage target, dropping target." This also applies to my archer. While it affects both my range character and melee character I must have done something wrong because it does not seem to be a "true" distance problem.

attackAuto 1
attackAuto_party 1
follow 1
followTarget Luthar
attackAuto_followTarget 1
followEmotion 1
followEmotion_distance 2
followFaceDirection 0
followDistanceMax 2
followDistanceMin 1
followLostStep 12
followSitAuto 0
followBot 1

This script is in both my archer and my thief config. Is there something I need to change in my swordsman config? I'm quite confused at this point.

I've read the manual over and over again. I'm not understanding what it says on this page

attackAuto_followTarget [<value>]
Determines auto attack behavior.

0 or empty or missing
No effects.

1 or any other value
Attack monsters, already engaged in fight with your master.

Only has effect when in AI is in auto mode.

--What is the AI auto mode? I can't find any information on its bolean flags

AI auto mode is just "ai on" and not the other state like "ai off" or "ai manual".
