About Openkore Bug reports
Posted: 14 Aug 2008, 04:04
MOD EDIT: This announcement is obsolete. 2.0.6.1 has been released. We are not taking any bug reports or support questions below 2.0.6.1
We know a lot of you are not using SVN, but we will not be accepting bug reports for any stable version (non-SVN versions)
Why you ask? Because the stable versions (2.0.5.1, etc) are, by definition, outdated when compared to SVN version, also any bugs fixed will ALWAYS go into SVN.
So even if you report a bug for 2.0.5.1 for example, we would have to try to recreate it on the SVN version and if we succeed in doing that AND we fix it, this fix will ONLY be available in the SVN version and not in 2.0.5.1
This means if you encounter a bug, make sure you are running the latest version and then report it with as much info as you can provide (server, revision, etc, etc)
If you do not know what SVN is read: http://www.openkore.com/wiki/index.php/What_is_SVN%3F
After you read that you can either use Tortoise SVN or if you're lazy use the mirror provided on the page "SVN Guide For Users"
If you still dont know what SVN is read it again till you understand...
