Always walking after killing
I've started watching the behavior of my OK bots lately and notice they're not acting efficiently to boost their exp.
Any skill based character (Wiz and bard for me) are 1 shotting monsters, but instead of casting again when there are multiple monsters on screen to kill, they always take a few steps walking before they go into their attack sequence again. This even leads to them walking off screen of some monsters and dropping them completely.
I've tweaked a few of the timeouts but that hasn't really changed much of this action. Is there something obvious I'm overlooking or what?

I encountered this too. I guess it has something to do with how ai acts.
Maybe checking for monster to attack should be first (or something like this).
I move this to bug reports, because GMs can easily detect this as botting behavior and thus should be fixed.

Yes, plus most of the time bots target a longer distance target instead of nearer one. My 1 bolt kill KO caster always walk onto the killed target spot and find another target thereafter.
im noob, but i know how to read config manual, command manual, macro manual but im still a noob.

One ST0 to rule them all? One PE viewer to find them!
One ST_kRO to bring them all and in the darkness bind them...

RunFromTarget is disabled.
Re: Always walking after killing
It's like "cast on monster", monster dies, move about 2-4 cells and cast again.
I encountered this on melee chars, too. (kill monster, move opposite direction, move back)

I have a little video with this in which you see this problem. If interested, I'll upload it.

Old thread, has this issue been fixed yet? Using r8881 here and this describes exactly what happens to me:
This is a very bot-like behavior and inefficient.Scarya wrote:I encountered this on melee chars, too. (kill monster, move opposite direction, move back)

it's like AI for move is more priority than AI for atk?
