Couldn't agree more with Kali.
The readabilty of a post is a VERY important factor.

Investing a little more time in readability will pay off eventually.
The more people that have actually read your post, the more people will be able to contribute to the thread.

The keyword here is good text formatting, a few tips:
  • - split in paragraphs
    - make titles
    - enough whitespaces
    - use code & quote block
    - be to the point
    - use common sense
The opposite to a well formatted text would be a Wall of Text.

Keep it short and sweet usually works for me. Not many people want to read line after line of pointless dribble.
