Sad to say, yes.

For farmers and pub/vend bots, the dc thing isn't that big a problem. But for bots that run repetitive macros, getting disconnected while a macro is currently executing can be a problem

it's like WOE map all over the place you got dc/ without gameguard
so need to run a posiedon server/?

someone said he'd try running poseidon a few hours ago. i don't think he shared his results yet
