Yes, meaning everyone would need specialized software. Huge specialized software.

As stated by motivus, it's been done already. And if I remember correctly it wasn't that big of a program.

No specialized software is needed in fact.

If you simply know how to tweak Poseidon and you know how to parse recorded packet logs, you will be able to replay packets synchronously through the Poseidon server. While it may sound hard, it is not at all impossible, let alone "specialized".

Kali, has one that does the same, but I don't think it's for public-, or at least free-, use.

I am not aware of anything else that exists in public. Good luck then searching.
Whatever...

Mine is less than 2mb when compiled X_X

I was planning on making it an online replay host - you upload a recording and then you can login the server and replay your file. It would mainly cater to botters who would like to see exactly what happened to their bot when they got banned.

I think I still have the sources lying around somewhere, except that it's not updated to handle all the new serverTypes yet. From what I remember it only plays recordings for iRO (and pRO as well I think) and won't work with those servers that have charBlock 106 instead of 108. I'll host the stuff again when I have time (and maybe work on it again).
Got your topic trashed by a mod?

Trashing topics is one click, and moving a topic to its proper forum is a lot harder. You expend the least effort in deciding where to post, mods expend the least effort by trashing.

Have a nice day.

or potentially fraps the video as a dispute to be unbanned? :) Although the in game cursor will probably not move throughout the whole thing...

So after a long time of not touching openkore, I was really surprised to find that someone made a packet recorder/replayer.
https://openkore.svn.sourceforge.net/sv ... -recorder/

So uhm, whoever put that up there, thanks a bunch!
I feel motivated to experiment and play with kore again

I coded one long ago but I never released it. Roger from bRO was supposed to help me distribute it but I lost contact with him.
what ever happened to him :S
