Problem solving for newbs
It would be cool if we had some kind of problem solving flowchart for the most common user-generated problems in kore.
That would state in a funny way how stupid the problem really is.
Thus eleminating allot of newbie problem posts.
Anyone?

I support this idea, it would be VERY HELPFUL for the private server section. I am however unsure of what other shit issues exist out there.

Theoreticly you are right sli, but people will simply not read 100 pages of manual or can't think for theirselves to solve their problem practically.
Nobody can't deny it, and its sad because such problems are flooding the forum.
But thats where the flowchart with basic newbie problems could kick in.
most common problems:
- unknown packet error (use packet extractor)
- Cannot load table file (table folder/file missing)
- could not calculate route (fields folder/file missing)
- unknown monsters/npc's (try different serverTypes)
- bot is logging in but immobile (try different serverTypes)
- server has anti bot -> recognizing method -> appropriate solution
- ..... to be continued .....

The problem with that is it's absolutely pathetic. I'd much prefer to serious policy of "no manual, no help." I mean, on IRC I'll kick people who ask stupid questions then say they didn't read the manual. Sometimes I'll kick them for saying they DID because it's so obvious that they didn't. There's no need to read 100 pages because there's a search function, and a giant "Help!" button at the top that takes you to every possible article that one would ever need.

With that out the way though it's a pretty odd thing to do when everything is already so well documented. If people can't figure it out from reading the manual then there's no need to dumb it down further.
