Re: Openkore's SubProjects.
His code is just horrible
(for my tastes anyway)
Maybe it's just me, but if I'm to make something in C++ I don't want it to look like it was programmed as "C with classes" but as "Object Oriented"
His coding style of course does not detract from the quality of his output. I'm just concerned that the code may not be maintainable once the project becomes larger.
I'm already starting to design my own graphical client(in Java) btw.

Got your topic trashed by a mod?
Trashing topics is one click, and moving a topic to its proper forum is a lot harder. You expend the least effort in deciding where to post, mods expend the least effort by trashing.
Have a nice day.

I drew inspiration from kLabMouse's AI 2008 and made it event driven and extensible. I'll commit my code at openkore soon once I get a minimal user interface ready.
Note that this isn't really a fork. Since ninjaroc is not just a ragnarok online client, it can also serve as a graphical add-on to openkore. It can also serve as a proxy for openkore when you run it on a server. You can also record and playback packets. It should complement openkore nicely.

Re: Openkore's SubProjects.
I renamed the project ninjakore - ninjakore is not just another kore - to avoid name clashes with the project mentioned above.
I'm still contributing to openkore though
But mostly through plugins - it's where I started with openkore, and extending functionality is really what I like. Although my plugins sometimes end up integrated into the codebase (locationSkill and doCommand for example).

Do you know that i'm one of the Dev's at JAROC project too???kali wrote:I drew inspiration from kLabMouse's AI 2008 and made it event driven and extensible.
Still working on GR2 files.
I think, that at End, JAROC and AI 2008 will become like brother and sister (one with Brain without preety looking face, and one like a Blondie without brain).

Yea I've seen you posting
One day I plan to integrate my network code with that of jaroc
but for now we stay as friendly complementing projects
It became ninja partly because of gmail's ninja theme
