Yeah...to think of it, this is more than enough for me =.=
Well, for us old school player this is already enough... but do you think we will attract new players/new blood? if not, then this new server will have the same old players with 5 to 10 population =_=.

What we need is new features like Mr HumanHealer stated above, But I am really against using bot in WoE/PvP. But in savepoint using it as warper and buffer is just fine.

The problem with KoreRO was that it had no community. It had some players who botted, but beyond that there weren't people to actually play the game with. That discourages people from going there because there is no driving force behind any of your actions. You already know you can automate any part of the game, including high end mvps. Why do it?
Oh no.

That is true, there is no Community but plain players who bot 24/7 and if new players will come they will see Ghost Town and No additional features.

Well, really my point is to have more active players and bigger population. Additional suggestion/features i may want to add besides what I stated in my earlier post.

Quest NPC will be good.
Implement Maps that are not allowed to Bot (ie. Abbey Curse, Odin, Rachel, Thor, MvP Maps)
PvP Ranking will be nice / PvP player of the Month
WoE Everyday in Different Castle, different Timings (ie. WoE in GMT+8 Prontera,WoE in GMT+0 payon,WoE in GMT-6 Aldebaran, etc.)
Guild of The Month
Implement WoE-se will be good also
3rd Job (Hopefully)
No Online Market (so new players will see people in Cities)

Well, this is just in my mind. it still up to the developers what will they implement.

Exception for this, i agree with you. That is why next KoreRO need something more/different to lure active manual players. There be some kind of formula that allows manual players to benefit like x10 more than a bot running during the same period.

I'm not aware of any high end mvp hunt with bots. Except a failing gtb bot.

@freezer
3rd class is yet to be proven a stable update.
Bots imo, should be prohibited/blocked on WoE only. Dungeon Warp NPC and Heal NPC should be stripped to avoid bots farming at the maps you've mentioned.

I like PvP/WoE ranking ideas of yours though.

We can always do the contest isieo and I have thought of (a long time ago for Kore-ro)

Submit a config (macro, whatever plugins) that will level a character from the novice training grounds to level 99 without any user intervention. The bots will be ran from the contest holder's computer and the owner of the config is not allowed to control the bot in anyway.
Got your topic trashed by a mod?

Trashing topics is one click, and moving a topic to its proper forum is a lot harder. You expend the least effort in deciding where to post, mods expend the least effort by trashing.

Have a nice day.

any idea (pre-release information) on the client part? i think it run on renewal client rite? so is it ok for me to start downloading the renewal client from RMS or Kore-RO will zip everything and host it somewhere later?

Community Contribution Promises: once i get my main (2 char) lvl maxed i will dedicates my time (at least 2 hours) hanging out in main town helping newbies or low lvl char or assisting those who got botting problem

@kali: about the contest, its novice 1 - trans 99/70 or just novice - any not trans 99/70
im noob, but i know how to read config manual, command manual, macro manual but im still a noob.

This would be great 8D

But mh, we can't put low rates, because if you want a non bot community, there is no way they come on low rates, when others bot. They would not even have a once of chance to compete with bot users. I think a minimum of 30 rates will be good(but you can always lower the drop rate.
And nowadays midrates are also much more populated, ppl are just to lazy to redrop their stuff again and again.
I'm for rate 50, but meh i think it will be fine around the 25 too ^^.

I have also a idea i want to share. What if, the better the map, the better the bot protection?
So that the best maps will only be hunted by pro botters and real player?
It would also encourage to improve the bots, to bypass the protections.

And what about, for each bypass made public (but only the hard one), you earn prices, BUT the bypass changes after? so that there is a competition, and some dilemna: Should i continue botting on this Imba map, or should i make it public so that i earn the price? Because if somebody else make it public, i won't have the price, and i won't be able to bot on this map again (until i can bypass the next protection). It's like poker, you must know how much already can bot, and how long will it stay private, so that you can use the map the longest possible, and the earn the price.

The only con i can think of is that the protection made by the kore-ro team can be copied on others servers xD. It will give ideas to the opponents (but who cares about other servers when we have Kore-ro? and the others servers don't want to 1) implement some anti bot features 2) script them...)

I'm also against bots on woe/pvp maps

Also, i'm ready to be part the *future* Kore-RO staff, i know ea scripting and i know some sql, and *i think* my general knowledge on ragnarok is really good 8D

PS: I'm French btw, sorry for the mistakes i could have made
