I agree with the original poster. Login will work in normal kore, but not xkore. I'm having the same issue and would love if it was resolved. As for the use of xkore; one reason is to run a heal slave and not get caught. Just my own reasons at least.

Well it would be better if more support was put for this, Because with X-Kore you would be able to easily cancel bot and control and see whats happening if GM finds you as appposed to Text based stuff, then they go. What hat am i wearing then your F***Ed or they say walk around me in a circle or trade me. with X-kore i thougt i could easily just cancel the botting and manualy do wat he asked. its simple and safer. Alot of World of warcraft bots are ran inside the client and is why noones geting caught. Just..i hope they put more effort in the future...I did pay 12 dollars for it

You forget that only VCL updates and really cares about VisualKore... all the other devs work on Openkore and dont care about VKore, even though Vkore is just Openkore with a better GUIjoshfulgencio wrote:Well it would be better if more support was put for this, Because with X-Kore you would be able to easily cancel bot and control and see whats happening if GM finds you as appposed to Text based stuff, then they go. WoW bots ran inside the client because the person who created WoWGlider was an idiot. Doing it that way got him busted and now he's paying Blizzard out the ass (which is bullshit, but the point is it's happening). That's not why no one got caught. The reason people don't get caught is because no one pays attention to other people in WoW. The maps is simply too expansive to spend time trying to get proof that someone is a bot. Quite literally, all the bot would need to do is walk at a normal speed. It's not uncommon to find people running in place against a wall because they turned on autorun and went AFK. Basically, if you get caught botting in WoW, you deserve it because it's that easy to fool everyone.joshfulgencio wrote:Well it would be better if more support was put for this, Because with X-Kore you would be able to easily cancel bot and control and see whats happening if GM finds you as appposed to Text based stuff, then they go. Ps, to find what hat you're wearing, type i in the console. You can also use the deal command, and the directional commands. Or just write a plugin to walk in a circle (morbidly simple math).
In sumation: X-Kore probably won't be fixed anytime soon, and if you want an update to V-Kore you're going to have to track down VCL yourself. I think at this point it's safe to say that V-Kore is effectively dead and anyone who bought it is pretty screwed. Of course, I never held to any false belief that those buyers weren't screwed to begin with, I mean look at Click's WX interface. That's free.
I literally sat down, the day Kore was released in 2003, and had it running in just a few minutes. Not much has changed since then, but it's people like the ones in this thread who would rather us hold their hand through everything than to put forth a little effort. None of you are working on OpenKore, none of you have most likely ever even written one line of code before, but you expect all of us to always drop what we're doing and solve your problems. Most of which are incredibly simple problems that could be solved by a quick look at the manual. I did it, countless others have done it, now why is it that some people still haven't figured out that the answers to all their questions are a mouse click and a few keystrokes away? I'm so tired of people coming into #openkore and asking how to make their bot attack only one monster. There's a reason I purposely mistreat just about everyone who comes on IRC with a question: 99% of the time they're stupid questions.
For the last fucking time:
X-KORE DOES NOT WORK, STOP FUCKING ASKING ABOUT IT UNTIL THERE'S AN ANNOUNCEMENT THAT IT HAS BEEN FIXED.

Well hey man, don't be so hasty. He did pay for the full product and needs to be compensated.Bibian wrote:You forget that only VCL updates and really cares about VisualKore... all the other devs work on Openkore and dont care about VKore, even though Vkore is just Openkore with a better GUIjoshfulgencio wrote:Well it would be better if more support was put for this, Because with X-Kore you would be able to easily cancel bot and control and see whats happening if GM finds you as appposed to Text based stuff, then they go. http://forums.openkore.com/viewtopic.ph ... 1&start=10Bibian wrote:If server X uses Servertype Y, why does using kore (without XKore on) work on using Servertype Y? But when you use XKore with servertype Y it fails? Your theory about strict packet handling is partially true, but imo has no real connection with this issue. An eA server without strict packet handling is able to handle openkore if you use servertype 3, but if you make it strict it has to be 8 or newer.
I don't know how to explain it any clearer than:
OpenKore (without XKore) connects using one packet that is recognized and then works
OpenKore (with xkore) connects using a packet openkore does not recognize.
OpenKore (any mode) can not connect to servers using a strict new packet version.
Think of it this way:
Since 1.9.x if you start XKore while at server/character select OpenKore will fail to connect to the zone server on official servers, and most likely on private servers too. If you connect to a server using a packet openkore doesn't understand it's likely to mess up in a similar way, because you might as well have started at the server/character select.
Kore "splitting the packet up" is due to the fact that the packet is split up when the server sends it. There are two types of variable length packets sent from the server. Those with a length that is less than/equal to recv's returned length, and those with a length that is greater than. The ones with a length greater than the recvd length is buffered until the next recv and then passed to kore's recv handler. Because the packet id for those did not change at all as long as recvpackets is up to date it shouldn't be an issue for kore to handle.
Oh no.
