Renewal messed up OpenKore, can someone help me?

#1 Post by dublon »

I really don't know much about OpenKore, all I know is how to set up options to make my bot work as I want. Now the Renewal hit and I'm completely dumbfounded, instead of my chars there are some out-of-the-blue characters (dancer lv 618/0? sic >.<) i get the unknown packet - 07FF error and my error log looks like this:

I got the weird character names/levels at startup too, but after I connected one and restarted openkore I got the correct names back. It is working for me now. Unfortunately, xkore mode is not :(.

Also, make sure you have the latest version.

Fixed. I just downloaded new opekore_ready. Having no wxstart sucks, however, i liked that window very much... Was so much easier to operate kore.

Wx Interface even has improved since 2.0.7. Those who complain about absense of wxstart.exe surely can't read our FAQ and even main page!

One problem fixed, now the next one comes to bite me in the a$$. Now Kore shows me a "can't reach or damage target, dropping target" message and "unknown switch 0809" error... I read somewhere that it's because of my char being on a ledge and the monster is below, that's why (or something like that). Can this be solved?

HELL YES! WXStart is back and kickin', baby! I just needed to download the newest version from here: http://misc.openkore.com/
Just paste it into your OpenKore folder ;)

As for unknown packets, I tried OpenKore Packed Extractor... But it seems that the same errors keep on popping up.

our next problem now is how is it that the bot stops attacking after a while. that i think is our main concern. oncourse excuses if i missed something that has already been posted/solved.
