Ban or just connectivity problem?

#1 Post by geometry77 »

hiya fellas, well my bots can't connect as of few hours ago, and it happened several times b4,

but every time b4 now whenever bot couldn't connect, in ro forums in warpportal and places

ppl were always saying they couldn't connect either. now it's not certainly maintenance time

nor is there a post saying there is one, and nobody else is getting dced, and all my chars cant

log in. but the only thing that bothers me is that when i try to log in using client, it acts as

though there's a patch, not banned(after typing ac/pw stays for few seconds then say "failed

to connect to server"). when i did get banned b4 sometime, when i try to log in using banned

acc there were always some notice saying "ur banned" but this time i just can't connect. So

can this be what ppl call "ip ban" when gm ban any acc logged in from that ip? main question:

can u get banned and see nothing at login but just "failed to connect to server" sign? if so,

how can u confirm? i just wanna check b4 i start over.

how do u change ip when using router? also, i read the post about error 10060 which is the error sign that pops up in my kore window, but if it's really the wrong server information that's blocking kore to enter, then i should be able to log in using regular client :(

If there is no messages about your account being banned or something but you still can't log-in, then it's probably just your IP address that is banned.

I see. So i have been searching for method to get new ip address for router and it seems harder than expected :( with regular LAN u can just ipconfig /renew or plug out/in the router/modem but with router it seems that asking isp personally to change ip address is the only way...or is it? if any1 been ip banned b4, plz share ur experience and knowledge, so i'll share it next time some1 like me appear. good day to u all.
