On cookieRO,(given ur recvpackets)

Code: Select all

Packet Tokenizer: Unknown switch: 08B9
Packet Parser: Unhandled Packet: 006C Handler: connection_refused
I tested on strict servers like blackoutRO, still can't get through.

Code: Select all

Search for Packet Len Map failed!
C:\v3>start.exe ! packet_extract.pl BlackoutRO.exe
Everything is correct infact I tested also in cookieRO and it worked.
some servers like Oldschool RO (which very bottable, tnx to their lame Admins)
same packet len map failed shows., hmm
Just like old times.

Hmm. The RecvPackets are correct. In fact, they use the 3 column format (the latest from 06.2011 use 4 column format).
So it should be OpenKore itself issue that is not covered by this topic.

That's Strange. Or EXE is packed, or they use Ancient EXE file that is supported by JVC Tools (I did not implemented that one yet).

May-be they use old Format too.

BTW. I've checked the latest v3 Extractor on about 1500 different EXE files (On thus, that OpenKore Packet Extractor v1/v2 fails, and JVC RO Tools fail too), and it worked just fine.

I see, maybe they used packed exe, how i wish I know how to unpack, a tutorial would be helpful, a good packet extractor is nothing for a protected EXE :(

Try use stripper > packet extractor?
stripper doesnt work for all exe its for asprotects exes only,
i realized it is impossible to unpack some exe, coz they maybe crypted by a homemade crypter or something they made by themselves. How sad, no other option but to code a visual macro or play fair LOL :D

MM. Please upload EXE that PacketExtractor can't handle. May-be I can think something out.

But I'll warn all to! IF the Extractor that is currently in SVN CAN DUMP IT, I'll add a warning to that user.
10 warnings -> Instant ban.

Old EXE inside.
Simple RUN and DUMP without .grf files did the trick.
JVC RO Tools successfully dumped.
