auto pick up dropped loots in town?

i am trying to set up a merchant bot that's specifically picks up everything i dropped to make OCing my loots more efficient,

i can't get it to pick up items when it's in town, i am guessing it's because my bot is standing in place and is therefore idle

but i don't want it to randomly walk around in town that kinda gets in the way of me selling


does anyone know how i can go about to fix this? i tried letting it route so it walks in 2 cells back and forth but it won't loot that way

i somehow found a workaround by accident

if you set pickupitems priority to 2, it'll be able to pick them up in the air before they are on the ground lol

its not really a fix but it's a band aid solution if anyone wants to do the same thing as what i am doing
