There's always risk in downloading or using hexed clients though it's normal to have false findings on hexed clients since online scanning consists of many AV scanners. If you don't want to risk anything even though the source is credible, feel free to trace and hex your own client. If you don't know how, you can research reverse code eng'g and any related stuffs, but if you're lazy to do that then I guess you should stick to the official client.
