Either of you guys mind re-posting the first recvpackets that everboy posted? Seems the link doesn't work anymore.
I created a recvpackets file with v3, but as was already said it doesn't work correctly. JCV doesn't work at all on the flro.exe client. I also looked for actor_info packets and have yet to see one pop up while monitoring. Along with that, even though I have copied and pasted the monsters.txt from the pRO to kRO folder, I am still having mobs being recognized as npcs and added to the npcs.txt file.

Re: Connecting to FlawlessRO with Xkore
monsters.txt has absolutely nothing to do with that. It's not used in decision of whether an actor is a monster or not (and it shouldn't).ever_boy_ wrote:does this happen to a monster which is already identified in your monsters.txt?SexyJon wrote:My bot is working with the 1st revcpackets that ever_boy posted. i think that the serverType we have to use is flawed. any idea how we can fix it? the serverType is "kRO_RagexeRE_2010_11_24a", the FAQ says it might be bugged too.EternalHarvest wrote:monsters.txt has absolutely nothing to do with that. You compare it with what you actually have on your server?DelitaX wrote:i think that the serverType we have to use is flawed. any idea how we can fix it?

kRO_RagexeRE_2010_11_24a is the closest thing to the timestamp i got from my server's exe. the timestamp is 5/01/2011.

Re: Connecting to FlawlessRO with Xkore
You asked about how to fix it. Compare actually used stuff (packet IDs and structures), not arbitrary compilation date for that.
