then...maybe is not the problem of the bot, but the iro server. could they possibly changed something in the server so the bot can no longer connect to the characters?

well i am not that good to analyze the client or the server and look into them. all i hope is the bot developing crew have noticed that possibility and find out the solution.

if you really ask me how to start the solution, i think those client data package we update in last few days might be a good beginning.

In order to make kore works on iRO you must take it with the old links of the wiki section http://www.openkore.com/index.php/TortoiseSVN_Guide (the ones which says "old")

After that you should update to revision 8444.

That's what it requires.

What's the point of getting an old version then updating to 8444 compared to straight update to 8444 which basically does the same thing? Basically I just used old and tortoisesvn to revision 8444.

For knowing the reason the latest version didn't work, well I checked the servers.txt for iro chaos latest and revision 8444, both're identical, so it must be something else causing the timeout.

Actually if you tortoisesvn checkout from the new svn links, revision 8375 for only the openkore source and main files while pasting this recvpackets.txt, http://forums.openkore.com/viewtopic.php?f=55&t=23759 into openkore_ready/src/Network/Receive/recvpackets.txt, while the rest, tables, controls, fields and plugins get the latest revision also works, fixes the pm packet tokenizer problem.
