the bot will only use the weapon, as I understand, when it's 2.5 cells away. by default I think you should make it 1.5.

if the the bot cannot move to the monster position within that time frame, it will automatically drop it and check for new monster.

if the map is very crowded, chances are it might be due to other people have already attacked the monster that your bot was about to attack.
