character: dancer/hunter
map: c_tower3 (clock tower)
server: valkyrie
question #1: why can't my hunter/dancer double strafe mimics?
*solved by editing mon_control (mimic 2 0 1)
question #2: why can't my character stay on her lockmap coordinates?
example:
lockMap: c_tower3
lockMap_x: 90
lockMap_y: 92
route_randomWalk 0
please help me botting gurus!
note: mods if i violated any rule please warn me about it. thanks.
*note2: edited the title to be more specific

you mean your bot still calculates route ??..imhungry wrote:

or maybe there are mobs on its LINE OF SIGHT where in the bot should move so that it can attack.

Re: character moving away from specified lockmap coordinates
I think my bot is getting "pulled away" from the specified coordinates.benj1320 wrote: you mean your bot still calculates route ??..
or maybe there are mobs on its LINE OF SIGHT where in the bot should move so that it can attack.
example: a knight with 5 alarms walks by my bots. my mon_control.txt being set on alarm 2 is gets too aggressive and follows the knight's mobs. something like that.

Re: character moving away from specified lockmap coordinates
are you botting in Rachel Field 05/06?
well the thing is bot does not recognizes the actual portal. Instead, the bot goes to "an imaginary portal which is to the right of ra_fild08. the solution that im using is use a macro wherein the bot will specifically walk to a given location [the actual portal]instead of walking to the imaginary portal

Re: character moving away from specified lockmap coordinates
thanks for all the help. I have solved this by making a character not move from his/ her spot and making him/her the "lock" itself
