dotaRO - bot fails to cast skills

Hi,

I have spent weeks researching and reading up the FAQ & on google in an attempt to solve this issue myself.
However, I am really out of my depth now.

Situation:
Configuring a soul linking bot - all skills "fail after 3 tries" including linking a knight, casting "running", all of this done in a skill-usable area.

Attempts:
Re-installed openkore 3 times, updated to current version via SVN, re-installed RO itself twice
ALL installation procedures and configurations have strictly followed FAQ/wiki instructions.

Checked servertype and all the details and have used many combinations in case I made a mistake somewhere:

I have also tried to set version as 20 (hex conversion of 16), checked serverType via Wiki instructions & tested MANY other servertypes (including all of the ones listed on the wiki table)

The config of the bot has been unchanged since installation; the only things I've changed are route_ data to stop the bot from walking around.
I have also extracted all the map data for the server as per other threads.

All of this has been performed with XKore 0 and tested/observed with an in-game char.

The skills are being casted using "sp 452 <char name> <skill level>" and many other combinations of this sort. Suffice to say, I don't have much experience in this area but I have provided as much information as I can think of at the moment.

If someone could shed some light on this issue, it would be greatly appreciated
