XKore On Valkyrie

#1 Post by stupidboy »

Hi.

I'm thinking of using XKore for my characters on Valkyrie, since I'm usually in front my computer when I bot anyway. But I really couldn't find too much information on it (or I didn't look hard enough), at least, not the sort that I wanted.

So I have some questions:
  • What are the risks of using XKore, as opposed to the normal console? Is there some kind of bot-detection program that iRO uses? Or do GMs just hunt bots manually?
  • What are the differences (pros/cons/etc.) between XKore 1, 2, and Proxy?
  • How would I set one up?
Thank you very much for the assistance.

Need some assistance please.

I'm trying to use XKore 1, but can't seem to get it to work. I start the console and it tells me to start the client, but when I do, nothing happens.

This is my XKore setting in config.txt:
XKore 1
XKore_silent 1
XKore_bypassBotDetection 0
XKore_exeName Ragnarok.exe

Also, I'm not using any hexed client. I've browsed around and read that you have to disable GameGuard for XKore 2 and Proxy. I didn't read anything about that being the case for XKore 1.

Please help. It would be much appreciated.

Read the manual before changing any options. XKore 1 on Valkyrie works fine with just "XKore 1" and default configuration.

Just tried it (as I did before posting the previous message) and it still just works.

If you're on Ymir (which this topic was not about) and there are problems with it, how about posting at least what the problem exactly is?

Sorry for my outburst. I installed the newest version and set xkore to 1 and put ragnarok.exe. When I start the client ole more days client found, but when I log in openlore doesn't change at all. This is on Valkyrie.

Where do you put "ragnarok.exe"? You don't need to put it anywhere.

Figured it out. You put rageexe.exe.

Why would you even react like that?
