r7926 | Kore+bRO not working

bRO changed its ragexe during today's maintenance. Ragexe's time date stamp changed to jan 5, 2012.
First we couldn't even get through character selection server.

Then I found out that map_login packet changed to 1179, added it to Send/bRO.pm servertype and now i can get in-game, but shortly after i get disconnected.

This is because most packets changed along with map_login.
I'm a programmer, and i'm not intimate with network related stuff, but if anyone can help me with anything I appreciate it.

1179 is the map_login packet. It seems that the official client sends random packets while in-game. Got those info with Openkore + XKore Proxy. In the third log i managed to move my character before DC.

after changing the map login to 1179 instead of 0072 the bot connects and then get disconected


meanwhile, i got some packets of the move command with the ragnarok client
85 00 10 8e 80 < this is the old packet
20 4b 10 8e 90 < this and all others are the new packets (im moving between 2 coords)
eb 7c 10 8e 80
c8 26 10 8e 90
7c 4d 10 8e 80
3d 6a 10 8e 90
3d 6a 10 8e 80 < after changing a while it stopped here (there were other packets in other tests but they all end on this)
not sure if that can help



edit: when i open the "bug reports" forum i cant see this thread

why is that happening?

edit2: lol first page is full of sticky '-' found on second page

This is old (2011-12-08aRagexe) packet dump: http://pastebin.com/mKWcCKnS
Try to Diff old one with new RecvPackets. And you will notice, that huge list of packets changed their ID, in some packets, the inner structure changed, some new.
The thing is, that thus ID's of packets differ in two versions (2012-01-05aRagexe) and (2012-01-09aRagexe). So It looks like the old game that we where playing back in 2007.
I RLY hope that Fr3DBr will make something working out of what we where working today.

Yes you are right, there is a possibility that the other servers start doing this too at anytime soon !

Try to Diff old one with new RecvPackets. And you will notice, that huge list of packets changed their ID, in some packets, the inner structure changed, some new.
The thing is, that thus ID's of packets differ in two versions (2012-01-05aRagexe) and (2012-01-09aRagexe). So It looks like the old game that we where playing back in 2007.
I RLY hope that Fr3DBr will make something working out of what we where working today.
