I was thinking about this earlier and im wondering if this is possible...
You could for example tell your config.txt to load a plugin located at http://openkore.com/myPlugin.pl or even http(s)://openkore.com/index.php?plugin=myPlugin.pl
If kore would be able to load plugins from a distance one could possibly put all their plugins somewhere and use a ACL to allow/disallow certain users to load the plugin.
Now the main problem with this would be, i myself would love to make it encrypted... so a user can load a plugin without seeing the code of it.
This is a good way to let people use plugins without the fear of them being handed out if you do not wish for it to become too public...
Idea's? suggestions? comments, etc, etc
DO NOT REPLY IF YOU HAVE NO (TECHNICAL) CLUE WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT

Re: Loading plugins from a remote location
That's possible.
The encryption part is the one that's problematic. It's gonna be a lot simpler to just download the text file and require it into the source.
Unless of course you provide a stub that will decrypt the plugin after downloading.
