Whats iRO's ban rate?

I know I made a similiar post a few weeks back, didnt really get a good answer.

But yeah- does anyone have any recent horror stories? I'm mostly scared of link bans.

Just make sure you're not abusing bot badly, most people that caught banned because of bot from what I've seen:

- KS-ing
- loot many things fast, aka use option 2 on pickupitems.txt
- use multiple chars in the same map
- botting in the map that obviously easy to identified by real player
- teleport botting or teleportautoidle setting
- 24x7 botting, if you're gonna sleep let your characters and computer sleep too..

From what I can tell, link bans only occurs if the characters initiated transaction to each other (trade). most common thing they find is item/zeny transfer.

They cannot track anything that is dropped, mailed, or vended unless the investigation is a special case.

Everything else is just common sense; don't be stupid botting 24/7, don't bot at populated maps, don't let anyone catch you botting etc.

Lol, I'm botting 4 chars on thara/hydra map and have been for 5 days straight. yikes D:


I've gotten almost all the equip I need so as soon as I get 70m to get my arch angel wings for my priest I'm going to chill out on the botting.

I JUST now started using the mail box so if they investigate I'm definantly gona get my legit account banned lol.



The legit players seem to think 80% of iRO's population is bots, if so that makes me feel like the GMS are okay with bots lol.
I hope their not though, not as fun when everyone cheats :p
