Trying to Set up openkore - having issues with server type

#1 Post by abeepak1 »

Hi guys, I am currently trying to set up Openkore for a private server, however, I seem to encounter issues with the server type, whereby the error message is :

"Cannot load server message parser for server type 'primary'."

So I rechecked the clientinfo.xml using the grf tool and this is what I got:

Code: Select all

 <?xml version="1.0" encoding="euc-kr" ?>

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="euc-kr" ?>

<clientinfo>
	<servicetype>thai</servicetype>
	<servertype>primary</servertype>

	<connection>
		<display>Cz PodZone Ragnarok</display>
		<balloon>Cz PodZone Ragnarok</balloon>
		<address>43.254.132.47</address>
		<port>6900</port>
		<version>27</version>
		<langtype>5</langtype>
		<registrationweb>www.podzone-ro.com</registrationweb>
		<aid>
			<admin>2000001</admin>
			<admin>2000002</admin>
			<admin>2000003</admin>
			<admin>2000004</admin>
			<admin>2000005</admin>
		</aid>
	</connection>
</clientinfo>an ‚

And the server.txt settings for openkore is as follows:

Code: Select all

 [Cz PodZone Ragnarok]
ip 43.254.132.47
port 6900
private 1
master_version 5
version 27
serverType primary
charBlockSize 112
serverEncoding Thai
recvpackets recvpackets.txt
addTableFolders tRO

Now admittedly, I still have yet to truly figure out the charBlockSize so that number there is a placeholder copying from the tRO server, perhaps along with a few other things as I try to figure this out as I go along. Any help would be much appreciated, and of course, if any info is needed, I shall try my best to fetch em.

Thank you in advance.

A little update: realized how stupid I was regarding the server type issue, so I went on and had a look at the game's exe compile date with PE viewer and got february 7th. I tried matching that with the available server types on the OpenKore files, but there werent any exact dates, thus I used the ones that are close, though the effort was fruitless. Perhaps this is harmony preventing the connection as said in another post, or maybe the server info is downright incorrect. If anyone could double check my settings, that would be greatly appreciated, as I cannot pull the info using WEP, and Wireshark doesnt point me towards the right packet (nothing showing up on login credentials search).

Thanks for your input! the website can be seen from the clientinfo.xml itself, hence www.podzone-ro.com

Please have a look. I also have another thread up in an attempt to have it run in X-mode, not sure if that could make things easier or more viable, might want to take a look at that as well.
