Need the correct ServerType / Mobs and Npcs like players

Hi everybody, im so noob in this areas, so i dont know how to look for the good one servertype.
So i came here for some help.
I read the manual, but i failed .

The PEViewer shows me Jan 22 2008, so im using 2008_01_02, i can connect to server, the character can move and everything except atack and talk with npc cause they're "player" (Recurrent problem in too many cases)

I tried with too many servertype but the problem persist

Fixed, the servertype was 8_4 .
