Ok, say i have a laptop with my main char on and i have a computer with my bots on, using the same internet connection. If my bots get caught, would my main still get caught even though they have had no contact whatsoever?

You will if you get an IP ban.

You get IP bann if you are coming up with the jailed banned character whatsoever. So when you see that you are jailed try to use your social skills to get out of trouble - if it didn't helped just let your char stay that way
