general question of botting (not technical questions)

I'm planning to bot valkyrie server.

I have couple questions regarding botting in this server.

1. How does banning work?
I mean if they caught 1 bot.. do they track and ban every account sharing same IP? or do they just ban 1 account at a time?(just the reported 1s?)

2. Do GMs actively ban bots these days?

1) The banning is not consistent. I run multiple bots and I've had 4 bots banned one at a time on separate occassions. However, I know someone that had 6 accounts banned simultaneously (including 1 merchant account that was never botted at all). Even though the other person lost all his accounts, he wasn't IP banned, and he was able to register more accounts afterwards. Even after my single bans I was able to register more accounts on the same IP as well.

2) Yes, the wall of shame seems to be updated about twice a week. Here:

Note that not ALL banned accounts will be listed here. In fact, it doesn't even show the account name, only the name of the 1 character that caused the account to be banned. You should realize that there a ton of banned accounts that don't get put on the list. I don't know why they only show some of them. So to try to answer your question, YES, bots get banned on a regular basis.

i had 12 bots and my sin and priestess got banned because they were botting together but i had 10 other bots at comodo getting all these hydra and thara frog cards that never got banned and i always botted all of them on the same computer and ip address. so idt they ban all of your characters if they catch just one of them. i had a ice pick which cost me 70 mil too... D: but it only took a couple days to get lol
